Hounds of Valor presentation to the COGG!
Yesterday I made a presentation for Hounds of Valor! It was done at the monthly Presentation/Networking meet up of the COGG. About 50 people were in attendance as I Introduced myself and my project, it was good to do a more public reveal of what I have been working on! Twiggy got to go too! She did a very good job in public outreach!
It was a 10 minute presentation and a 5 minute Q&A, During which a volunteer from the group played the level prototype in the background while I spoke. The reaction was positive, many impressed at the state of the prototype and uniqueness of the concept. The volunteer was able to play through the demo without specific instructions and came away impressed with how the game felt to play.
The rest of the time was spent socializing with the group and getting to talk to people about game development! There was some playing of the game after the presentations but most of the time was spent chatting and networking. Twiggy got to meet most everyone, I even made a nametag for her! It’s always great to find a place where me and my dog can be welcomed together, everyone at the idea foundry was very happy to have her there.
Thanks to the COGG, everyone who was in attendance and Scott for the photos of my presentation, it’s great to be among other developers and share!
